To sign off Merit Badge requirements, the scout must go to the counselor for that merit badge. At campouts, activities range tremendously. Scouts could be hiking, swimming, shooting, playing games, or just sitting by the campfire. All of these activities happen with adult supervision so your child is more than safe.
